Where does your AFF username come from?

Tuapeka Star was a very handy and tough NZ-bred pacing mare that I used to admire and back a bit back in the early to mid 80s when she raced in Australia.

I was lazy when typing it in the first time, hence the 'lower case, no space'. Also ever so relieved it wasn't already taken

Oh, and could not find a pic of her...the avatar is actually another pacer (my all time fave) from that era, the late great Pure Steel.
