I'll plump for The Alice
Getting warm.
Specific name?
August is an excellent time to visit👍

Cryptic Trivia which may or may not help:
There is an Australian native plant which on first glance looks like 4 leaf clover. Found in areas such as where the picture was taken. Burke and Wills death, according to some legend, was in part caused by this plant as they ate it without cooking it unlike the traditional inhabitants.

BTW let’s also juice it up by adding some travelling info to the places depicted in the photos such as:

interesting trivia
How to get there
Best time to visit

Etc

Larapinta Trail
Sure is!
Late winter- spring is the best time
Takes about 2.5 week to walk the entire trail.
Carry all your water - refill at NP maintained trailhead tanks. Relying on natural water sources is high risk
Mobile reception nonexistent except at hilltops - Telstra only but Optus only at Ormiston
Dig your own poo drops. NO covid sewerage testing here!

Can also organise food and water drops along the trail at trailheads and alternate point. Trek logistics can be outsourced to the various commercials servicing this route
ASP is the airport

Anyone done this walk?

The pretender to the 4 leaf clover is called?

Famous for Venaccia vineyards. Visit anytime but May-September is best.

Behind Alice Springs or the Flinders Ranges?? I'll plump for The Alice, so visit in August.

Well, just hmmmmph!! Thats what I meant by 'behind' Alice Springs ;) 🤣 The geology doesn't lie - never mind the spinifex or other weeds. :)

I chose August because its the time of the Henly-on-Todd regatta.

Well obviously, but it's a big place. Where exactly?
I thought I might have got away with that - I'm going for multiple choice - Castellina in Chianti, Greve in Chianti or San Gimigiano

Argegno on top lhs of lake Como looking away from the lake. Fabulous restaurant!
