Yes!

Aww :( Give the poor working VPS a chance! :) :) :)
Sorry @VPS 🙏
This is one of my favourite places. Elsewhere in AFF I posted the story of going to Pt Isaac and - exhausted sat down for coffee as hubby went for a wander up the hill.… only to stumble onto the set.. meet Martin Clunes and Caroline Katz and brought back the photo evidence much to my distress🤣🤣🤣

Ha - I would have known that one. I'm a bit slow this morning. I've birds in my ceiling and I'm sure they were playing marbles in the middle of the night. Waiting for the pest control to sort it out 😒

Reactions: VPS
BTW - @kookaburra75 when do we get told the FrenchyFilmy photo origins
I've got to let this play out a bit longer, plus give @VPS a chance.

One more hint. When you asked if it was in the movie that Charlotte Rampling was in, and I said you were getting warmer. Maybe her name has a sort-of-connection to one of the movie titles.

s it the restaurant Outlaws?!!
From that particular view, it would be Outlaws Fish Kitchen, which is down by the harbour, not Restaurant Nathan Outlaw which is up the top of town. Both currently closed - the Fish Kitchen not sure what is going to happen, and the 2 start restaurant is being relaunched as New Road - and becoming more "accessible".

It was @MARTINE that mentioned Charlotte Rampling. I'm not working today but I should make an effort to achieve something even though I haven't had much sleep.

So go ahead and reveal it because I've run out of ideas

The two movies were Charlotte Grey and The Hundred Foot Journey, which were filmed in the village of Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val in southern France.

We saw the village and the surrounding countryside in The Hundred Foot Journey, and stopped there in 2016 when we were on a driving holiday through southern France. We drove up from Toulouse, in more or less a straight line using the back roads. Well worth a visit, but not in peak season. According to the locals it gets packed out with the campers who stay in the area along the river.

Thankyou - interesting background . This is what I love about AFF.
Its a great thing to travel to favorite screen locations
Hubby and I are British crime/drama buffs and spend a few days tootling around various Midsummer/Morse etc locations.
(although only he met the cast of Doc Martin!)
