Hi all,

Have a work flight to Chicago later in the month flying J which will be awesome to try out.

I'm QFF and DJ WP already, just wondering whether anyone has an opinion on whether to credit this flight to Air New Zealand or sign up for United FF program and credit there?

I'm thinking if I credit to Air NZ, I can credit my future virgin flights to Air NZ and get my Star Alliance status sorted?

Thanks for any help you may have

You can't earn NZ status on DJ flights, only Airpoints.

ah damn, i might try giving united a go and hopefully I have a few more flights to make it worthwhile in the long run

If status is the goal why not look at crediting to Aegean Miles & Bonus, SYD-LAX-ORD one way in J would yield 18,500 miles approx which would put you within 500miles of Star Gold Status for 3 years (20,000 miles for Gold status with a 1,000 mile sign up bonus)
