Where to get a pre-flight COVID-19 test?

Travelling Brisbane-Singpoare on Easter Monday 11am.

SIN requires pre-departure PCR test 2 days before departure.

With it being easter weekend, it seems the only real option is to use histopath at Brisbane airport on Saturday or Sunday given the easter weekend closures at non-airport clinics. Does anyone know of any other options? Dreading the queue at histopath if its the only real option.

Note that for Singapore a professional RAT is also acceptable (cheaper, faster and less sensitive)

At Brisbane airport there is now Histopath and 4Cyte that perform tests at the airport. I'd recommend showing up later in the day about an hour or two before closing because many people do same-day tests and by that point there shouldn't be as many people.

Anyone know if there's a list somewhere of which Chemist Warehouse outlets are offering travel testing? I've got a flight to the USA next week and was looking for one in/around the Sydney CBD, but it's a bit hard to find.

Terry white also does it too.
Click on book now and it'll show you which stores and available times. Not sure on the cost though.

So if the country you are heading to says that you require a "laboratory based Antigen Test" you can't use this chemist supervised service right?

I think the answer is "ít depends''. The Philippines requirement is "negative laboratory based Antigen Test". I rang the tourist office in Sydney and they said that the CW or Priceline services were quite adequate as the requirement was really a supervised test by a professional.

I'm heading to Philippines too!

Might have to fork out the extra and get it done at histopath because the misus doesn't have time to do it the day before.

If you're looking for a Chemist Warehouse in the CBD that do the travel tests, the one at 80 Pitt St (next to Martin Place) do them.

Hey @SydneySwan
Will you be doing the RAT at the chemist?
I just asked my local priceline and they say they do the supervised test. It's only $30 and it saves me going to Histopath tonight for my flight tmr.
Will it be enough from Priceline?

I have tried to find the information I need in this feed, but not confident.
Where can I get a COVID test sample taken in Sydney on a Sunday with result and travel certificate for travel to USA on Monday (morning departure). I want to travel on Monday but have found just 1 collection centre, and the cost is about $290. Would Sunday travel, and Saturday collection be a better option. Travel on Tues is not an option. Thanks in advance!

My trip to Manila is not until last week of May. If the Philippines have not dropped the pre-departure requirement by then I anticipate visiting my local CW for the test.

The airport immigration was chockers yesterday, the immigration line went from one side of the airport to the other end.
Regarding Philippines entry, Qantas lady said she would have accepted the chemist one.
Also, QF19 didn't have any headsets loaded for the economy pax...

How much before your flight did you arrive? How long for check-in? Then how long from Check-in until you were airside?

My understanding is check in only open 4 hours before, but will 4 hours be enough?
