As long as the accommodation is cancellable/refundable.

I have been looking but not booking. But even the refundable bookings on booking.com state the accomm will take payment, in advance, at some time after the booking is made. I don't need another fight to get my money back....

When the travel bans are lifted I'll probably go to the UK or simply interstate somewhere.
