Problem was solved later in the day.
Hi
Where in the app is pressreader? How are you accessing it prior to the flight at home?
Cheers in advance

Do you have a qantas app ? I.e. For the iPhone usually available 24 before departure. Best to download the PressReader app first so your mags are available cross platform after registering! Thanks defurax same brain wave working!Hi

May be the case. My next QF flight is 40 hours away (so outside the window) but the My Trip page on my app does not show press reader as an option in the future. Not a good sign.I just heard from Qantas that they are no longer providing PressReader access due to the low uptake. Access has been closed since 30/09/2017. Can anyone confirm this? What a shame!

That would be a real shame if true. Always liked being able to download my fave mags before flying.I just heard from Qantas that they are no longer providing PressReader access due to the low uptake. Access has been closed since 30/09/2017. Can anyone confirm this? What a shame!
It was nice being able to do it in the comfort of your own home though.Don't fret. You can still connect your PressReader through most local Council Libraries. For example, City of Sydney libraries give 3 days of access, far more than QF ever did. The procedure is to go to one of their libraries, connect to their free internet, launch PressReader and bingo! Your PressReader has a HotSpot Map option which will help you find similar locations in your area.
From what I remember reading somewhere, Qantas no longer supports PressReader, came down to just not enough people using it.

Hey Phily - I'm familiar with the PressReader hotspots, and have seen them advertised at various hotels and other places, but haven't done much browsing around on/after them... do they tend to have the same kinds of libraries as one another to download from, similar as what Qantas had on offer? e.g. broad range of current/recent magazines from home and abroad, newspapers, etc.?You still can use PressReader in the comfort of your own home. You just have to connect briefly to a PressReader hotspot near you, as described in my previous post today, then you can go home and download magazines for 3-4 days.

As far as I can tell, the access via PressReader hotspots is exactly the same as what QF offered. The difference is that QF gave you 12 hrs of access, whilst it varies at hotspots. City of Sydney libraries give anyone (yes, you don't have to be a resident) 3-4 days of access.
