Which Hotel is closest to Sydney International Terminal

I have a late domestic flight from MEL - SYD and then an early SYD - NAN international departure the following morning.

Which hotel is closest to the international terminal for an overnight stay? I don't mind walking but will also consider hotels that offer a shuttle service to the airport.

Nothing beats the Rydges. It literally is a two minute walk from the foyer of the hotel to the check-in desks. No messing about waiting for shuttle buses.

As is so often true, one pays a premium to stay at the airport compared with (in this case) Rydges' Sydney CBD or inner suburbs hotels that in some cases are only 20 minutes away from the airport by rail. Each to his own, but I'd prefer to pay a lower rate and stay at a CBD hotel as there's a greater choice of dining establishments for an evening meal.

If at all possible, ask for a room that has tarmac views, although these may not be available if one books a 'sale' tariff room.

For a cheaper option, I've also stayed at the Ibis, walked to the domestic and jumped on the train to international, there is also a bookable shuttle if you have a lot of luggage. Think I also stayed there for a morning NAN flight last year.
