Which IHG hotel would be best for HK Harbour views for say the NYE fireworks?

I only know of the Intercontinental (but not sure which rooms would be the best) Any other good options? Thanks in advance.

That probably your best bet as its right on the harbour. The other intercon grand stanford is eastwards, but I am assuming the fireworks if like the harbour lights are more visible from TST proper.

The next closest in TSt is holiday inn mody rd, north of the I/c but don't know if you can see the harbour?

Definitely IC HK (the more expensive one). Make sure you pay extra for the Harbour View room. Very much worth it.

Thanks all.
Would you say in general the best place to book the IHG is through the F& Friends link?

I'm also thinking of staying at the Conrad as well, is there a similar link for this property like the F&F?

Cheers

Never tried that myself. Too many worries for me about it not being honored.
However, another option is to look at the good rebates going thru ebates or other cashback sites. Currently I think a couple have 12 to 15% rebates, paid thru PayPal. If you are looking at I/c for any length of time, you may also want to consider the I/c ambassador program, as it gives u an upgrade and other things.

Theres probably AAA rates available too if you have auto club membership.

Not sure abt Conrad.

never had an issue with F&F, I would try it first and compare to any other codes you have as sometimes it isn't the cheapest.

+1 on the IC HK also, the buffet is also a must try for both the view and the food

Thanks. you mean you booked through F&F and it all went smoothly at checkin?

I might join up for the Ambassador.
