Which lounge when flying in PE?

Hi Everyone,
When flying J with SQ to the UK last Sept, we were invited to a really overcrowded and hot SQ lounge in Changi. It was so unpleasant being in there, that we left straight away. I couldn’t remember what lounge that was (maybe SilverKris??)

Now as we are flying PE, what SQ lounge are we entitled to use in T3 as Velocity Gold?

As far as I know only JAL extends lounge invitation to passengers in PE. I am happy to stand corrected but I don't think you'll be entitled to any lounge flying PE on SQ.

Having said that, as a Velocity Gold holder you will be invited to SQ's KrisFlyer Gold lounge. If you found SQ J lounge in T3 underwhelming, cut your losses right now and just give the Gold lounge a wide berth. Also note the Gold lounge is being renovated right now, so you'll be invited to the lounge with the one next door (I think it is Dnata lounge or something).

Why not spend your time in the terminal? Changi is actually a pretty good place for a stroll... there are worse places you could be stuck in for a few hours...

@hossein_au , thanks for responding. If it’s the Gold lounge that I will be invited to, i’d happily check it out as people had pointed out that the Marhaba lounge (the KF Gold lounge replacement) is actually much nicer that the original Gold lounge

True, but not by much; it is better as in you, for example, don't have to leave the lounge for a toilet. It is still a (big) notch below the SQ J lounge.

The T3 Marhaba lounge (temp KF Gold lounge) is actually pretty good, excellent range of food choices - best I've seen for a buffet in any lounge, and of course the showers/toilets inside are a bonus! It just gets really busy in the evening peak.
