Looking at seat selection on the 777-300ER (BNE-DUB) on QR:

This is the seating plan at the very back of Y. I’m thinking one of the aisle seats on the 4 back rows would be decent. Obviously, the ones with the biggest aisle gap would be better (I assume), but when I look at this same seating plan on either sites, the gap looks different.

On Aerolopa it shows the gap tapered to the other side.

Seatguru also shows it on the other side.

The row numbers don’t correlate for either of the 3rd party websites, so maybe I’m looking at the wrong thing.

Either way, do I just believe the QR website that the gap is in the other side? I know they don’t let you change the seats once selected on confirmed. So, any insights from anyone who has been on this plane would be great.

Ultimately, it probably doesn’t matter that much. I think an aisle seat on either of two rows further to the front would be good. I’m not sure if there’s a loo behind the last row, so probably safer to be a bit further ahead.

Some years ago from memory it was something like row 90 on QF when the seats narrowed to 2 but it allowed just that little extra space. Of course in any turbulence the further you move from the wing the more you move.

So, not that much to bother with? I did look into the whole thing about you feeling things more right at the back and right at the front, so I might look at a spot closer to the wing. Also, I’ve only got 2 hours in transit on the way there and would like to grab a shower in that time. So makes sense maximising my chances to get off sooner rather than later. Thanks!
