Very broad question, but which Hilton property would be best from a general tourist perspective?

In Tokyo there are things to see and do just about everywhere. The only criteria I would use is easy access to a JR or subway station.

As others have said, the Conrad is a beautiful hotel but is a little bit out of the way, if you don't mind a short subway ride to get around to the main sites it's a wonderful choice.
The Hilton Tokyo is better located, the rooms are a bit small but if you can get an upgrade to a junior suite the rooms are pretty nice. The lobby does get very busy though and can be pretty chaotic.
