Apologies if this has been asked and answered, I have been hunting the threads and think there are similar conversations, but none that give me confidence that I know the answer.

My renewal is on the 30th April. I am 60 points away from retaining my Platinum status. I have flight’s on Jetstar in April, the final one is the 26th April, that will get me over the line, as long as the status credits are counted for when you fly, and not for when they land in your account.

Hence my question. If I fly on 26th and the points don’t appear in my account until after the 30th, will I retain my Platinum status?

Thanks.

Points and SCs accrue based on activity date (even if they post later), so flying on 26 April should mean you'll be okay.

Assuming you do have a status earning flight (bundles with SC earn), you should be fine. It may be that before your JQ status credits come in you may temporarily drop to gold, but it should retroactively put you back to Platinum when it does come in.
