Who else has to regularly chase up Qantas for points & status credits owed....

So now the track flight claims page has this at the top, saying that by the 24th Feb all backlogs will be sorted. We'll see.

I'm still waiting on 8 active claims (including one from September - waiting almost 6 months), so not hugely confident I'll see them all suddenly credit within the next 5 days... hope to be pleasantly surprised when I open the app on the 25th.

Frustratingly, I've been waiting on two 3K flights to credit since November.

Multiple emails to 3K, who in the end said to talk to Qantas. Lodged missing points claims with QFF, no action after over a month. Emailed everything necessary to QFF and got a service number, but still no action.

Called QFF on Monday last week, they put me on hold to check everything over, and confirmed I was eligible for points and that they'd be credited within "48 to 72 hours". Still no sign, and the claims are still showing as pending.

If you can't even get Qantas Frequent Flyer to credit what you're owed from a Qantas Group airline, what hope does anyone have when it's from a partner airline instead?

I think one more phone call to QFF is in order. After that, it'll be time to take it further.

Personally never had any issues with points/credits accruing, that is from QF (international/domestic(inl. QFlink)), Airnorth,Alaskan,American.Westjet.

I just came back from a return flight to India via MH (KUL)

Flights back credited points/status credits, but flights there were apparently a "zero earn class" even though the entire return flight was paid solely by cash (i.e. a revenue flight).

Would have thought all paid revenue flights earn something? The below came up on my activity statement.

MH KUL 0108/KUALA LUMPUR cough ZERO EARN CLASS/05-FEB-2023 -
MH MEL 0148/MELBOURNE KUL ZERO EARN CLASS/04-FEB-2023 -

Anyone ever experienced something similar? I have contacted the QFF team via their online form so we will see...

Many discount MH fares book into O class - which does not earn with Qantas Frequent Flyer.

Just checked my ticket - my flight there was class N and my flight back was the regular Y. Looks like class N earns nothing - couldn't even see it on your link - on reflection...the outgoing flight was dirt cheap (and I remember the plane MEL to KUL wasn't even half full).

In terms of MH/CX coming out of Australia, seems like Premium economy is the minimum required to earn any Qantas Points and SCs. Even Economy on CX is not eligible for status credits it looks like.

I hadn't noticed the CX change, but that's pretty bad.

I hadn't realised the other MH discount buckets had been "enhanced".

Maybe credit to another FF program. For example, N class can earn some Avios with BA.

Well, I badgered QFF once again by phone today and finally, my flights were manually credited.

Points, annual status credits, loyalty bonus tally and lifetime status credits all updated. Only took three months! 😂

That banner is still up tonight
The banner is still saying by 24th February, but as I sadly expected, none of my claims have been processed.

The oldest has been sitting in their queue for 6 months now.

I'm based in the UK which makes calling difficult.

Maybe I can just cut my losses and try to claim these flights into BA instead.

You definitely earn SC on CX out of Aus. Discount Y earns ~15 while flex is 30 from east coast to HKG. Its lower than the equivalent fares on QF metal but you still get it.

It took me a claim and 2 calls but I got my MEL > HKG > HND SC.

Likewise, it tends not to post automatically, I find my SYD-HKG-HND flights take about 3 weeks, tend a manual SC claim for it to post.

Likewise, “Qantas activity” (i.e. Viator) points always take an eternity to post but after following up 6 months later, I always got them in the end.
Did you follow up with Qantas Activities or Viator directly?

What‘s the current usual wait time for CX flights to post to QFF (without intervention)?

I thought they used to be pretty quick but I‘m coming up to a week since some J flights early last week and wondering how long before I jump on the claim Merry Go Round.

Answering my own question, it appears to be ~7d and a bit. 200 SC (and some points) just landed.
