Hobart based. Fly out fortnightly for 2 to 3 days. Have moved away 3 times but keep comming back due to the more relaxed lifestyle. One traffic light and 30 min drive to work, less than 20 min from the airport.

Was just looking at paying $500 X2 for flexi's HBA to PER so i could take advantage of the Half price upgrades when i went for a look at possible availability.
Early september has Business Class reward flights for $150 plus 6900pts. What a great bargain They are even cheaper than saver rewards ??
Not sure if its a mistake but got confirmation email so happy as Larry once again.

Sounds great Kalboy - I'm trying to find how you have done the $150 plus 6900 pts but maybe I don't know my way around well enough - can you give me a link or explain please? And enjoy the warmth over there, won't you!

Many thanks

I thought all those deals evaporated when Virgin enhanced Velocity an significantly increased points required....?

Maybe there are still a few blips out there?

Fabulous find thank you! Have just booked us a weeks holiday in Perth $600 and 27,600 points for two of us return business class. And thats from Hobart!

They also have the same business class fares ($150 plus 6900 pts) available into July next year. I have the feeling it may be one of the blips that Pauly7 refers to.
