It’ll have to be over 7 million as they claim they’ve reached that goal and have now set their sights on 8 million, per.

Miss Three-and-a-half's number is 59xx_xx. We signed her up in 2008. Mine is 17xx_xx. Mr Katie is 08xx_xx.

I'm only 595 ****, but a friend of mine is 767 ****.

Of course the easy way to get the answer (valid for about 2 minutes) is to sign up to QFF again...

751**** joined late last year :) Only 270 status credits until silver:lol:

I'm 62xx_XX, joined in Dec 08

Reading off my FF membership card I note my membership number is 403xx_xx_ - i.e. 403 Million and a little bit more.

Is the QFF number issued right now actually represent the number of current QFFers or the number of QFFers since program inception.

In that time QFFers would have passed away, suspended, left the program etc.

This was my thought John.

Many members would have died and as QFF do not reuse numbers the actual number of members would be considerably lower than the highest QFF number.

I would like QFF to release the numbers of card holders that have never flown, my guess it would be well over 1 million.

I imagine that could be the case now with Everyday Rewards encouraging and enabling people to join QFF for nix, but prior to that, given it cost $82.50 to join QFF, I reckon most members would have joined specifically because they were going to fly, even if only one trip, and they may well have let the points expire, and effectively be 'inactive' members.

Sorry I should have added that this was due to the EDR free joining program. As it costs nothing a lot of people would have joined on the off chance that one day they will have enough points to fly.

That cannot possibly be right, as they only announced recently their next goal was 8 million.
Well since this thread was originally posted in the "Your Questions" forum, I did assume it was referring to any FF program and not specifically to the Qantas FF program. The number quoted is from my JAL Mileage Bank membership card.

But as the thread title references QFF, I am going to move the thread to the Qantas FF forum and note that my JAL number is not relevant to the discussion.
