Well my question is exactly that: Who is the youngest member that resides on AFF?.

I ask this because I fear that I may well be that person, my friends think I know too much about "Flyin & stuff" as they call it for my age, its nice to just come here and talk to people that know what you are actually talking about, and to ask some Q's that you don't know without copping too much stick.

Cheers,

Josh:p

Certainly not me.
Though in your case anyone here in Tassie that knows stuff is obviously a bit suss.:shock:

I dont think age is ever relevant when it comes to intelligent conversation.
How old are you jdevereux3 btw?

Don't really want to say, I could go two ways

1. You will all be extremely shocked and outcast me for good.
2. You would all be fine with it

I want it to be number 2, seriously:lol:

I am sure it would unanimously be number 2. This forum is for those who love flying.... OR who just have to fly... Age is irrelevant! (Unless you are under 18 and you want alcohol in the QP)

I'm 15

bossreggie, I have no interest in alcohol at the QC, alcohol has done very bad things to people I love very much and as far as I'm concerned i will never touch the stuff.
Food in the QC now thats a different story, try and keep me away from that!

All my friends are out partying and making as**s of themselves, again I have no interest. I would rather be sitting mile high on a plane, everyone has their own fun in their own way, if they want to call me weird then so be it, BECAUSE I DON'T CARE

I have met some very interesting people and been to some very interesting places in Oz, my happiest moment was when my parents let me fly by myself for the first time, I was so excited and today flying by myself meeting all kinds of interesting people is the norm (wow this should really go in a blog, thats a weekend project)

I'm in grade 10 in Tasmania, I have had a few bad years (namely yr. 7 & 8) but I'm turning it around in my last few years at school as I want the best start in life I can get, I like all my teachers, they like me, I've got a good report card so I'm happy.

I think I am a very entrepreneurial person, I come up with these great ideas but for some reason I don't have the followthrough to complete them, wether this be because of lack of support, cash etc. doesn't worry me, I like myself just the way I am.

Some might call me weird, but I don't particularly care, It's my life and I will live it how I want

(B.T.W, I don't play any sports, unless jet-setting is now a sport, which I think it is on AFF)

Well some of us are fairly young (there are AFF members less than 30 years old), but I think the OP trumps all of us.

I was a bit afraid at the start like you, that I was getting interested in something and the demographic was much older. Didn't help that there was nary a person my age when I went to my first FT or AFF Do (FT AGM of 2007).

Things have changed now. :) But on here, age (indeed, nothing really) is no barrier.

I’m shocked, but it’s #2 for me.

Anyway I’m 24, and I know there’s an 18 year old in Perth. So you might very well take the title. But age really has nothing to do with it… although I do think you’d get to experience more being 18, even if you don’t drink.

I just wonder what your parents think about you socialising with so many old people (bring on the flames) on a forum ;)

Very cool that your parents let you travel by yourself, and I guess you really must be an SFSC.

I am surprised at 15 though that you’re a member of so many FF programs

They're fine with it, well mum is anyway, I don't really care what dad and my stepmum think

They are cool for letting me travel by myself, they obviously approve as they fund most of my trips, you have to bring me up to speed, what does SFSC mean?

I'm going to declare it that jdevereux3 has to be the youngest active* member on AFF

* now now, this isn't a game, so do not go and open an account for your 2 year old child as that won't count ;)

Self Funded Status Chaser.

Ahhh... I still can't break away from a NB with QF though
