We used to have one of these threads previously but it’s from the old setup and now locked, so here’s my relatively tame opener:
Indonesia to Cyprus for holidays during the Eid il Fitr break period post Ramadan and we’ve travelled CGK-IST-CPH (TK J return airfare to get to Europe - open jaw and returning from ATH).

Same day CPH-ARN-LHR (SK Plus which I’d equate to a Y+ kind of product but allowed seating in rows 1 and 2, lounge access, checked baggage and greater flexibility on the ticket).

Overnight at a Heathrow hotel and a quick catch up with Mrs Scarlett’s cousin, then the next morning LHR-FRA-LCA (LH Y first leg, J for the longer second leg - but Eurobusiness is definitely not worth it and I won’t be paying for that again).

Part of the benefits of this trip are locking in TK Elite (*A gold) again for another two years, plus getting to try SK and LH for the first time and seeing their lounges. I know it’s stereotypical but the Scandinavian lounges were congenial spaces, light wood and people socialising, whereas the LH lounges were more organised and the other guests were mostly quiet. Different times of the day of course but an interesting contrast and more in keeping with the respective cultural stereotypes.

Six flights was more than enough for the family to get to our destination, so wouldn’t be trying anything more convoluted than that unless I’m travelling solo.

After Cyprus we’re heading to the Turkish Med for a period, then returning for a couple of nights in Kyrenia in Turkish occupied northern Cyprus.

Our full trip looks like:
