I wonder if this was a setup? Personally I reckons she is 4 out of 10 at most and probably get 2 out of that 4 from the blond hair.

I have visited Norway, where there are plenty of blond woman and thought most of them were actually average. My mates Norwegian wife who has blond hair actually thinks she gets hit on more outside of Norway because she has blond hair. Probably true, but IMHO I think she also overrates herself like Ms Brick.

In the original article Brick claimed the proof that all those other woman are jealous is that she has never been asked to be a bridesmaid, presumably because she is so much more attractive than everyone around her

I work with a tonne of young women all about a thousand times more beautiful than the put-upon Ms Brick. I don't spend my days plotting against them nor do I resent their success. Perhaps she should take some responsibility for her own lack of it. Possibly flirting with male bosses to as a primary tool to get ahead is one reason why women in the office are not particularly fond of her. I also happen to think that I am roughly on the same scale of averageness as Ms Brick and have never felt discrimated against over my alarming and intimidating beauty. :shock: But then again, I also do my job and don't swan around the office claiming my female bosses are jealous of my good looks. If she had problems before then I can assure you they are not going to be cleared up by making such public declarations.

Or....maybe she photographs poorly and has massive charisma, although hubby doesn't appear to be in the ranks of the beautiful people either. But horses for courses and I suppose in someone's universe she is really good looking. It would be interesting to see what her coworkers looked like by way of comparison.

There was a similar article in an Aussie rag about a year ago featuring a moderately overweight lass of fairly common appearance.

I can totally understand what she's saying.
Beautiful sometimes do have the "problems" she describes.

But what I want to know is:

Who the hell is that woman in all the photos, and what has she got to do with it?

As others have said if she didn't dye her hair blonde no-one would bat an eyelid.
