Why would QF not allow seat viewing on B 737 domestic service one week away?

Booked via BA AVIOS redemption for PER to SYD a long time ago. It was originally when booked A330 and got changed to B 737 also ages ago (like months). . Seats were allocated ok in biz cabin. E ticket 125 stock issued. Now for over 24 hours all we see on App and on main site "seat choice are not available for this flight" yet the flight is 7 days away.

QF being QF, should I be concerned for any reason?

At a guess I’d assume a possible aircraft change. What date and flight are you on?

There is no issue imo. Only free seats are in row 1 and 3F.

Since you said seats, I am guessing two.

You likely do not have status to access R1 right now, so there is nowhere two pax can move.

This is normal behaviour.

Noted thanks. We are I believe in 3A and 3C

The other half, while currently in the ADL lounge asked at reception for why we can't view, never mind change the seating allocation for next week. The staff, surprise surprise had no clue. She just rolled her eyes and has now sought solitude with a glass or two of something...., 😜. Moral of the story, probably this forum has better knowledge than QF.
