Will VA credit Singapore Airlines mileage soon

I'm planning a trip in Feb for our anniversary to Krabi Thailand.

Would live to fly Singapore Airlines Mel to SIN but I am a points hoarder so
Does anyone have any intel on when the VirginAustralia might start allocating points for SA flights?

Not sure if it means anything but VAustralia website now shows Singapore as a destination .... Maybe it always has ?

Any thoughts greatly appreciated...

They codeshare with Etihad on BNE-SIN.

The Bisbane layover is terrible... Hoping to go direct to SIN from MEL ... Hoping Singapore Airlines arrangement will be finalized shortly...
