Airline boss Willie Walsh to step down and has announced his successor
I wouldn't expect any improvements at all, as Walsh's replacement is Luis Gallego, head of Iberia, which is not known for providing stellar service. We will now have Spaniards in charge of both IAG and BA, and let's not forget how bad Vueling is.Will be interesting to see if this brings changes or more of the same to BA. He’s been pretty heavily criticised for turning BA into a Ryanair clone.....

Strategy is one thing, but service delivery and local tactics are another, and these are driven by management. No amount of good strategy can compensate for poor service delivery.Board controls the strategy.. it won't change..
