Anyone seen this yet ?

www.wishonq.com.au

What is the difference between this and Duty Free shopping ? (apart from Duty Free having no tax on it)

Is WishOnQ available on board the aircraft too (DOM / INT) or just on the ground, e.g. I get on the flight, want to surprise my better half and order something for her to arrive while I'm away ?

Noticed this in the seat pocket yesterday. A glossy brochure there, with order form at the back. No mention of it on PA, so I guess they don't sell onboard. Think it is just a mechanism for ordering gifts at inflated prices to be delivered to where you want to, using the services of wishlist to com.

Cheers :)

If I get into a sticky situation (which I will be in later - my fiancee doesn't like me going away on business), I can have a bit of time on the flight, decide, then send her something nice before I skip the country to talk to the US guys). 12 red roses, big card "sorry, miss you etc".

Sweet, sorted, it's all good. Couple of thousand FF points and 1 million brownie points with her.

:D

A great theory whilst it works.

Just a warning though. After 30 years they expect a LOT more than a dozen roses :!:

:(

Iceman, I'm in your situation - was in PER/ADL this week, but after snaffling 3 Macadamia Nuts from other J paxs on MEL/BNE last night, fiancee was a little appeased. Of course, later she was a lot happier
