Woolworths gift card thread

I spotted this too. The T&Cs seem to have changed from previous offers. Up to 14 days to post. Hold onto your receipts folks

The vanilla seemed a bit slow to activate. Tried to use at my usual online stores and declined. Then 20 minutes after buying, all went through no problem

The terms haven't changed.

But in my experience there can be a problem with the points showing instantly on the first morning of a new promo.

I stand by not buying when the points don't show instantly.

They have been pretty good in the past with adding points. Make sure you screen shot the offer, that you have boosted an offer, and the promotion code at the end of the terms.

In regards of gift card offers, ensure you have a screenshot of the offer or something. It made it much easier fixing a issue that I was chasing up many weeks later

Can confirm points now being awarded instantly.

As before, do not buy unless you see the points listed at time of purchase

Lesson learned. Online chat have said I need to wait the 2 weeks

Be careful with some of the gift cards when they do those x20 point offers. There are two types of HIM and HER, those type of gift cards from different suppliers, very easily can buy the wrong one, which I did, oops, they still added the points however so positive to EDR for my shortcomings.

Did 4 x $500 cards x 2 today, easy 20k QFF

Do it again tomorrow, but only 1 store had heaps of stock sadly :( so will get harder I feel

Did they display at POS.

Not displayed at POS for me this morning.
Yes. If I don't see it on the screen I don't complete the purchase.

Are you sure you bought the right cards this morning?

I've seen multiple reports this morning saying that points are crediting instantly.

I got more this morning, same as yesterday, just the popup message at the end 5,000 Qantas points converted.

Interestingly one of the stores I went to yesterday has much newer self serve registers that I hadn't seen before on one side and older ones on the other, but then a small printed sign no gift card purchases.

I was directed to the service area and it was done in less than 30 seconds without endless overrides and approvals (again on a newer machine)

Mine definitely showed at till this a.m.

In retrospect not too bothered about yesterdays morning's misstep. I couldn't find any more yesterday and the points will credit eventually

I also couldn't find any stock this morning. I'll give Coles a go on my way home tonight on the off chance that there are some of their cards still on a shelf somewhere.
