There are no fees for buying any Ebay giftcards. Many giftcards charge no fees.

Today i went to a few woolies and non woolies venues that these $88 cards.
I asked if they sold any. And they laughed at me !

I wonder if woolworths will put a special on after chinese new year if sales still remain at zero

I got a 888 point tsrgetted offer from woolworths if i buy somrthing .

Expect 24 hours wait.

As a data point I purchased a number of cards 10 am Wednesday and tried to use them 1 pm Thursday this week, however they were not active. Customer service looked them up and could not see them in their system. The back of the card does state "... will be available within 48 hours of purchase", so I wouldn't rely on it being 24 hours.

Just use self serve.
They seem to use the old software and dont need staff to approve the purxhase

I've been to two bigws and their gc range is terrible and rarely stocked up

I haven't bought from BigW after the activation issues I had last year (earlier in this thread). IMHO the perfect gift card game, without a bonus discount promo, is too marginal to be worth playing.
