Question on purchasing gift cards at WW. I know you can’t use a gift card to pay for a gift card, but can you use your banked ‘money off shop’ for buying a gift card? Anyone with experience of this?

Thank you - yes, I’ve just managed to find the section in their terms that covers it, and seems it’s only possible on the off chance you could buy a gift card via the ‘Everyday Rewards Shop’.

17. On what purchase can I not enjoy my balance?​

Everyday Rewards dollars cannot be enjoyed on purchases made in-store or online at a Redemption Business for all smoking products, gift cards (including Woolworths WISH Gift Cards, e-gift cards and iTunes) except where those gift cards are sold on Everyday Rewards Shop, mobile recharge, Everyday Mobile from Woolworths, travel cards, tickets, cash outs, delivery charges (except for purchases made on MyDeal), donations, lottery products, Carpet Care, Pre-Order Kiosks, BIG W Photos, BIG W eBay, lay-by-fees, MILKRUN delivery charges and purchases using an AmpolCard, a Country Age Pension Fuel Card or on a charge account. Apple just introduced a more tamper-resistant version of their gift card but some stores may still have older stock. Refer to the image below for a comparison of the two versions. If you're buying the old ones, you should open them before paying to confirm that internal and external serial numbers match and that the redemption code hasn't been damaged. Hopefully this new version will prove more effective at preventing tampering.

I needed to buy $20 apple gift card = 400 points to top up ER for QFF conversion. However, today I went to 2 Woolworths stores and there was none. I phoned 3 other stores and they said they did not have any. Does anyone know the reason? The stores said something about scams so they pulled all the apple gift cards (!!) Cannot imagine everyone here has bought them out

They are replacing all Apple Cards with a new design that is specific to each location so they only work on each specific store. Something about stopping scammers or something. I assume delayed stock for your store.
