Woolworths gift card thread

Isn't that limitation only applied to TCN Teens variable load cards? That seems to be the only one called out explicitly in the image posted above.
You could certainly read it that way but the T&Cs in the catalogue are somewhat different (no mention of "a limit of 10 cards per day per reward member").

Anyhow, I scanned 5 "GIFT" cards at the self-check out and it only came up as 4,000 points (not 10,000). I queried it with the 18YO attendant and got the "OK Boomer" look. I had to ask her to get a catalogue so we could check the details of the offer which, as noted, had changed since the online offer was published in this thread.

OF course there is no point arguing with the check-out chick who didn't even know there was an offer on gift cards, so I only bought two cards. Fortunately my nearest WOW is one km from home so I can call in and get two every day.

It pays to check the amount of bonus points you are going to receive before you scan your credit card.

You're talking about next week's offer whilst they're talking about the current one.

The terms of the offer haven't changed. They're still the same: "Unless specified, a limit of 10 cards per day per Rewards Member. For TCN Restaurant $50 & $100, TCN Gift $100 and TCN Active Variable ($20-$500) where you choose the amount to load, limit of 2 cards per day per Rewards Member."

If it helps, you should be able to buy ten $50 TCN Gift gift cards in addition to the two $100 TCN Gift gift cards on the same day as the two purchase limits are treated separately.

Good point you make about the $50 TCN Gift cards. While the offer hasn't changed, some of the T&Cs have been left out of the catalogue (that is the limit of 10 cards unless otherwise excluded). In any case, the way it's worded can be misinterpreted (as it was by @DejaBrew ). I was merely trying to bring the 2 card limit on the $100 cards to members' attention.

I hasten to add that your efforts in bringing these offers to our attention is greatly appreciated; especially the list of retailers where the various cards can be redeemed. (So many more places than shown on the face of the packaging!)

I'll confess that I search out your posts each week to see what offers I can make use of. Again, your posts are very much appreciated.

I should add to the above posts that my two local Woolies have stopped displaying the banners (or whatever they are called) at the gift card stand. So the only way to know what offers there are is to read the catalogue or check here on this thread. Have other members noticed this at their local stores?

Actually I like it this way; since they stopped promoting the bonus offers there are always plenty of cards on the stands, even towards the end of the promotion.
