Woolworths reviewing partnership with Qantas Frequent Flyer.

I can't see much point in the "forced conversion" of points (to Qantas points) at the 4500 level and it also seems to cancel the choice of those who have chosen the "save for Christmas " option. This is in 3.3 of the new terms and conditions. WOW seems to be a bit begrudging in its attempt to provide loyalty rewards.
Given that 4500 "Woolworths Dollars" is equivalent to 900,000 points and would convert to 450 lots of 870 points (i.e. 319500 QFF) I can't see it coming into play that much.

You will be able to have some control now on when your Woolworths Dollars are converted into QFF points. The quarterly option is still there but if you ring the Call Centre, you can ask them to transfer your QFF points, which will be done by 7 days after your phonecall.

Both of these terms are in the existing terms and conditions. The changes have mostly been tidying up some language.

Well I guess for those of us who buy large quantities of Serrano Ham at more than $700 per kilo we reach those targets in no time! Once the Rewards scheme receives more fine tuning with 10x offers and the like it may become realistic. At least we no longer need to seek out the dreaded orange stickers (RIP).

I would expect the orange tickets to return at some point in some form. Such as buy this ticketed item for x bonus points. Much like the old EDR system of buy these for extra specials when card scanned.

The "you have saved $x woolworths dollars" receipt messaging disappeared today, so points should be on the way.

Impressed that the points have posted early - I was one of the skeptics that also felt like a battle to get them was brewing. Along with wish gift cards, I will now commence a slow transition back to split supermarket shopping after a year at coles

I'm in a battle for 8,700 points which were manually transferred back in November. Still no sign of them. It's been a joke - passed from supervisor to supervisor, who keep telling me that the 'help desk' is still looking into it.

As an aside, the automated transfer on 15 December worked perfectly.

Me too. I will go with the best offers. ATM Coles are asking for too big a spend.

One great thing is that during the past few months, Woolworths has very obviously reduced many prices. I'm not greatly surprised that it has returned to sales growth, even though apart from cafes and restaurants (which in a funny sort of way at times are a competitor to supermarkets, especially cafes) consumer spending is apparently rather muted - 40 or 50 per cent of Australians have high levels of household debt.

As the next conversion date approaches, I am curious, what's the general consensus here on the forums? Do you guys have it set to convert to QFF ?

Personally, I had mine set to convert to Qantas points till now, but have since changed it to bank for Xmas, until I figure out if its worth buying Qantas points at 1.15 cents per point. Probably best to leave in woolies account until i need them for a redemption opportunity. I use the same approach for Coles (leave it in fly buys balance), but it makes more sense there as they can be transferred to more than one FF program and also don't expire.

Don't lose track of the time. If you use bank for Christmas the points will be converted sometime in December to Woolworths dollars which will be taken off your shops instead of being converted to QFF points. You don't have the same options in Woolworths Rewards that you do with flybuys.

Yeah will have to keep track of it. Another issue is unlike flybuys you can't convert woolies dollars to qantas anytime you want. So even if there is a redemption that I need it for, I will have to wait till the next quarters conversion date ... I am leaning more and more towards just getting it off my grocery as I earn them ....

Some people have mentioned calling up WW to get points converted earlier.

Today is supposed to be conversion day for the second tranche of WW dollars over to QFF points.

My WW Rewards account says 36,540 points transferred, but my QFF account shows 0 points with the message "You're not getting points with Woolworths. Choose to get..."

I'll call tomorrow, but you might all want to check your points transferred over correctly.

Yes, this does sound like something to be concerned about.

I got this message on my account as well but I convert my Woolworths Points to cash so the message makes sense in my account but not in yours.
