Forgot to activate an offer before shopping this morning
Not for me.The meat offer this week and veggies next week.Yes I got the veg offer also. So many offers lately its hard to keep track!
No the meat offer. I don't usually buy meat at Woolies so hadn't bothered to activate. Then spotted a couple of things on sale, and missed out on 350 pointsIf you are referring to the veg offer, it doesn't start until tomorrow anyway.
I received the offer to spend $60 online and receive 4500 Woolies points. The order came to $64 but some of the items weren't in stock so they refunded me $10 and the total was brought below $60. I didn't receive any Woolworths points because of this. I only made the online order for the bonus points. Anybody had any similar experiences to this?
I would get on to customer support about this. It's not your fault that items were out of stock. You met the spend criteria otherwise.

Happens all the time. You need to ensure the items will be in stock or order more than the minimum. Items are frequently not supplied in my experience.I received the offer to spend $60 online and receive 4500 Woolies points. when picking up the order, I spoke with the customer service manager and explained I only made the order for the offer. I even wrote that in the 'special instructions' field when placing it. She assured me that the points will still be given because as a customer, it isn't my fault if items aren't in stock. They could have cancelled the entire order and refunded the amount, There is nothing in the T & C about this situation, hence why a chargeback may be necessary.
Out of interest Dr Ralph, how do you ensure that items are in stock when placing the order?
Is there a way?
Happened several times even on orders that show all items in stock, because the store that fullfills the order may sell out of the items by the time the order is fullfilled. Web chat with a rewards team has always resolved that for me and points were manually credited.I received the offer to spend $60 online and receive 4500 Woolies points.
