Not for me. They were different words. As I understand the WFTD is time based so maybe ytour timing was somehow off? See PM.A genuine question based on the fact that the word for today for me, was the same exact word I had yesterday. More than 24 hours apart. So I simply asked, in spoiler tag, whether the word of yesterday was the same as the one for today for others. And hid the word I had.

Was perfectly reasonable in my opinion. Anyone who hadn't yet done todays' puzzle was warned so shouldn't have clicked. It was like you typed the word so it was visible.
Word changes at midnight based on your devices time. I usually do the puzzles just after midnight, occasionally like today I do them when I wake up.

All the words (answers and accepted words) are built into the relatively small wordle code file..It surprises me that a 'device' controls the day and therefore the puzzle word release and not from (now) NY Times consistent timing of release but clearly that was the issue
