No, it was worse than that! I had to take a couple of seconds to even work out wtf I had done because it was two levels of stupid. 😊

I had an L and a C.
And for some stupid reason my brain thought ‘CABLE’ but the L was in the wrong place. So then I figured I’d guess the American spelling of CABEL which at the time seemed somehow reasonable???? Yeah I don’t understand it now either… because the Americans spell it… cable. 🤷‍♂️
But when I was typing that in I actually typed CAVEL and had that oh-no millisecond where my finger was going from the L to the enter button whilst my eyes were telling my brain I’d missed the B. Wouldn’t you know it, but apparently CAVEL is an accepted word?
Cavel: to allot or apportion according to lots cast. The working positions cavelled by the miners.
