World Changing Conversation at the Mercure Sydney Macquarie Park

There was an alarming conversation in the Qantas Melbourne J club where a guy was pacing up and down and threatening violence to someone he was speaking about, presumably his wife. A Kevin conversation. Several of us reported it to the desk. He disappeared.
I'm not sure what I'm more surprised by here: someone openly uttering threats of domestic violence to their partner in a lounge or the fact that they got reception in the dungeon. Then again, given your report, he likely received worse reception than John Howard at a gay pride parade after he made those threats.

Did she mention that she can go to the lounge due to some elite status (WP, OWE, *G, tick your pick) loudly? She could be an AFF/FTer!

Last year in Auckland QF lounge I was thinking that business woman must be an AFFer or similar.

She called at least three people on loud speaker at the top of her voice (phone on the coffee table) to tell them how disgusted she was to have to use the J lounge because the F lounge wasn’t available to her.

Proceeded with a run down on each call on how crowded it was and ALL the food was slop and the coffee undrinkable. We are sitting on the other side of the lounge and there was no issue hearing every word.

The poor people sitting next to her 🥲

Presumably the EK lounge was closed?

Recent experience in an international J lounge where some tool decided to play his tiktok stream on loud speaker for all to hear. He would often play the ones he thought funny on reptition several times. All while having his feet perched up on the chairs.
