Point 5 & 6 of T&C's dont seem to allow for this

So 95,000 and you cant get 15% off it seems
so you save 7000 points only?

Yeh, i was tempted to cancel my ticket in late June and rebook, but again in T&C 17, says tickets issued prior to this aren't able to be refunded or reissued etc

I called Enrich today to ask a few questions (got an agent reasonably quickly, but the line quality is always appalling -- not a skype call either).

I was ringing to ask whether I could add a stop-over by phoning in to the call centre after booking online (I saw a previous reference to this on this site) for an Australia to Europe booking. The agent said, yes, it's possible, but you would have to forfeit the 15% points discount from the online booking, as well as pay a change fee. So I guess if you want a KL stop-over on the way to Europe from Australia, you are better off waiting for the 1st of December and booking the ticket as two separate tickets, to claim a small points discount, and free stop-overs in either or both directions.

We may just go ahead and book our tickets away, as I am not that fussed on stopping in KL (of course, my boss the wife may have other ideas).

Got excited when I first read this but after doing the maths marginal savings only if you want to fly on from KL. Better deal if you want stopovers.

Last month booked to Bangkok and back to Brisbane as two separate bookings as wanted a stopover in KL on the way home. As posted previously is a myth that you can phone the call centre and pay $20 US for a stopover.

The flight Brisbane to Bangkok was able to be booked on line and received the on line discount of 15% for 34,000 points. As wanted a stopover on the way back in KL did not get the online discount and used 40,000 points. If you did not want the stopover would have been return of 68,000 points.

With the promotion Brisbane to KL return is 40,000 points (which is a great deal) but if you want Bangkok it is another 22,500 points return which allows you a stopover in each direction as two separate bookings. Total return (with two stopovers) is 62,500 points compared to 68,000 points (no stopovers), 74,000 points (1 stopover) or 80,000 points (2 stopovers).

It's out finally.

And I am correct: :)

50% off KUL - everywhere, in Y,J,F.

Book by 15 Dec 2013, travel 1 Jan - 30 June 2014.

I can hear the stampede already.......

Just logged in to my account to have a look and, of course, the discounted redemptions have not been loaded into the system and I'm still getting the normal quotes... *sigh*

Typical disorganised MH.
They've now changed the Redemption period to 1- 8 Dec 2013.
The Travel period remains the same.

great news. was hoping for this again this year! 3 X generations girls trip to F1 coming up again. yes!!!

Newbie question,

What is the difference between redeeming for J, C or D (business) besides the HUGE points cost difference, do you get different perks? Also same Q for F or A (first)

It's just the different booking classes. It's part of their "dynamic pricing" for redemption tickets, which is why there are the price differences. It comes with more flexible ticketing options for the higher fare buckets.

Just transferred 285000 MR points to Enrich, so I'll be trying to book 3xJ return to Europe as soon as the points clear (according to Amex it takes 2 business days to transfer). Will then be attempting to add an infant (no seat) to one of the tickets by calling up. I'll let you know how it goes.

tied booking this morning, as the first day of the 50%redemption sale, and as usual chaotic website, crashed at the last step. uuggghhh!
went out and had a coffee, and can now think straight, and will try again
