Would SG/LTG pay to upgrade from the QP to Dom J lounge?

One difference between QF SG/LTG and QF WP is Dom J lounge access at some airports.

If QF gave SG/LTG the option, would you pay hard cash to upgrade from the QP to the Dom J lounge on a per visit basis? If so, how much would you be willing to pay?

After my most recent visits to the BNE and PER Dom J lounges at the end of last year, I do not think I would pay to upgrade but maybe others would...

I thought this thread was going to be the question "should QF LTG get Dom J lounge as a benefit" to which I would have answered yes, as it rewards life long loyalty and they're fairly big lounges, unlike F lounges internationally. Back on topic though, it would really depend on the location and time I was flying, as BNE/PER and soon MEL would be the big draws for this. I like the CBR space, because it's quieter, but it doesn't have a lot more draw than that and the QP has a better view.

No, I would not pay for an upgrade. I luckily still have my WP card. I wold like to see an LTP from QF (like BA, IB or AY).
Maybe a "Gold Plus" that would cover Domestic Business Lounges and QF F-Lounges.

I might consider paying $20-30 to visit the J lounge if I had a long time in the lounge or wanted a better meal etc. But on a regular basis, probably not. Anyway, the fee would have to be considerably less than the cost of a J upgrade, otherwise you would just upgrade and use the better lounge anyway.

As SG I would consider paying for arrivals access on some occasions (e.g. after a redeye).

Sometimes I really like the J Lounge hot food and sometimes it's not to my taste. Arrivals access to lounges is what I'll miss more when I eventually drop from WP.

I think I'd pay a small amount for arrivals access if it was offered to SG.

The short answer is no.

The longer answer is I usually go to the Qantas lounge in BNE first and if happy with the food I only spend a few minutes in business lounge. Both lounges get quite busy.

A no for me as well.

I can envisage it being attractive to some on the rare occasion (like Mattg says if you have a long transit).

I personally don't think the refurbed lounges are so great as to warrant extra dollars over the regular lounge. Ironically one space I do like is the old workstation desks in the non-refurbed SYD J lounge. Usually quiet, plenty of space and big desk with powerpoints. No natural light but if I needed to work for a couple of hours a J lounge upgrade may be worth it then.

The J lounges are already often overcrowded, so hope they don't introduce this as an option. Also think there's zero chance LTGs get access. It is a LTP benefit (were one to exist), not an appropriate LTG benefit.
