WP a worthwhile 1st year !! Tks Qantas

I pushed to WP for 1st time from May this year, with one of the key goals to get seats released that were not otherwise available.

All I can say is it has been very well worth the WP status and tks Red Roo for the journey so far.

Highlights;

• Able to use equivalent F Lounge in Pall Mall London during the Olympics
• Seats released on Int QF flights in tough booking periods as follow's
  • Y+ and F MEL/LAX December
  • J SYD MNL in May
  • J in April for SYD/JNB/SYD
  • Y SYD/LHI in November (notoriously hard to get this route)
  • Y from Roma/BNE in October
  • J in Jan LAX/SYD
  • y+ in Jan DFW/SYD
  • various other sundry flights
• All the great QF staff that have done such a good job (Especially the Premium desk)

F lounge access and baggae allowances on OW flights also a treat.

Status match on Turkish airlines for *A (AFF post!)

Must say that the knowledge on AFF for anyone to access has been instrumental in what has been acheived

Now for the next 1200 SC's from 1/2/13

Must also make a special mention for Vanessa and Marianne at Sydney Int F Lounge.

They are top class and uphold all that is good at Qantas

So sitting contemplating QF93 in F in 2 weeks thinking WP is well worth it.

I hope others also get what they aspire to for the spend and hard work to get to WP.

Yes all classic seats. They don't release JASA or FASA unfortunately
