OK just thought that I'd come for a play for my 1000th post. Unfortunately there doesn’t appear to be many people around which is reasonable since it’s raining.

Now to find a suitable (not too dirty) hat for someone.

JohnK could you please let me know who the poor sucker, sorry lucky winner is and I’ll make the arrangements.

I’m off now to wash off the sand and then go out to a BBQ in the rain!

Apparently the hat needs to be a collector's edition hat that someone may sell for a tidy profit on eBay in the near future.

Yes. The commute to work is a bit much otherwise. I do seem to recall something about Sydney having more wet days per annum than Melbourne :!:

Never fear, it's raining in Brisbane tonight as well... (and has been since about 3:30pm or so).

Still a bit of rain is always good practice for the possibility of relocating to either Melbourne or Sydney (or even Pommyland!!)

Hmmm... 2 prizes. Wow. The secret is not to advertise the thread too much and that means not a lot of people guessing. :mrgreen:

Yada Yada should just get over the line to 1,000 before you mal unless the pressure of the moment gets to him. Only 13 posts in it now.

My victory, if I happen to win, is very hollow. For starters we do not have enough people involved in the guessing contests and secondly I may win although my guess is almost 2 weeks after the actual post. More guesses and we would have seen a different result.

Anyway good luck to you both and I thoroughly enjoy the posts....
