You have to though because the alternative is pretty miserable. I can do nothing to change the situation, other than doing my bit and getting vaccinated....four times (don't ask or just read my latest trip report), so having a laugh is all that is left. Going from averaging 250k miles a year to next to nothing and being, all but, prevented from getting home by the Australian Government, I have to look on the bright side and try to beat the system or at least play along and work things to my advantage.
To be fair not flying as much has served as a reminder of what is important - yes flying around the world ten times a year.......and at someone else's expense.

There are always those who are worse off, Western Australians and New Zealanders spring to mind, they will be in lockdown for many years to come.
