You know you've been travelling too much when...

You hesitate for a moment before selecting your usual seat on your usual flight because last time the entertainment system sound was a bit patchy and given that the plane is an aging A330 you don't trust that it has been fixed

Haha agreed - for me, I wake up in a hotel and have no idea where I am.

I have that at home, waking up and having no clue where I am what day it is, looking at the clock and trying to work out what the time is...

When you try to open the door of your hotel room and the key doesn't work. Then you realize the room number was from last week.

Oh thats a good one! i got upgraded mid stay from my normal room room, same number in sydney to another one, came home at 3am wasted and spent a good half hour trying to get into my room - meanwhile someone from recpetion found me trying to break into the wrong room with my actual room key in one hand an hungry jacks in the other. Deff one of my proudest moments.

Best thing for travel ever is to have a completely separate set of toiletries ready packed. Who hasn't arrived somewhere and found they've left a few items behind? Anyone tried shaving with one of those airline razors??

Agree totally - I have one packed and ready to go in my bag; gets refilled (if needed) as soon as I return home, or during the trip thanks to the hotel amenities! ;)

Or you quote last weeks hotel room number when you lock yourself out of this weeks (done more than once ). :D

When you arrive home in Melbourne late on Friday, start driving and wonder where the turn-off to the Gold Coast is.

This seriously happened to me a few years ago. I was only a short step away from hallucinating.

When the only reason you drove to the Post Office today was to see if your VFF SG pack arrived (it didn't) & you hope it arrives before next week's trip to Brisvegas.

Congrats on SG, erkpod! :)

Hard to turn down my contracted rates with Accor, even if there is a nicer hotel in the area. Give me ibis world square Sydney for under $130 over and IHG or over $200 any day - Ill spend the savings at a bar!

Really?!? - buying soap is sooooo 20th century. Cant remember the last time I bought soap.

I use all the hotel soaps as hand soaps. What's with the soaps that have all the multi-grains to tear your skin off?

When the lounge staff/FAs don't look at your ID as they already know your name and FF number

When you make your hotel bookings and ask for your usual room because you have personalised it

I know its nice to have the card but your status will be printed on your boarding pass anyway so you will have absolutely no problems receiving any benefits - I don't usually whip out my card if I've already checked in online....
