Inspired by the Top Three Holiday Photos and Best Photographs of Aircraft threads, I thought it would be nice to have a place for AFF members to share their favourite photos they've taken either of a plane, or from an aircraft window.

I'll post a few of my favourite snaps below, but I'm sure other AFFers have much better photos! Please feel free to share yours in this thread.

Some of my favourite pics aren't impressive on their own but very personal because they're linked to the start/end of a significant trip. Here are a few:


You hardly ever get this in normal flying - this was on a seaplane returning after lunch at Berowra Waters Inn.


This one's meaningful because it was the end of my first European trip - and I was about to get on this aircraft with a FASA

That particular Buffalo Airways plane has never flown for Cathay Pacific, but they are both DC3s.

I’ll post a few as I find them. When I was l flying out of Quito, I was keen to see the Cotopaxi volcano. I looked out and was disappointed not to see it. We must have left going the wrong way ...
