Your favourite photos taken of/from a plane?

And that one east of Finland heading to Cuba maybe 😀, the long way

They fly directly to islands just north of Cuba that are set up as super luxury resorts for Russian tourists.

Unlike on the mainland, there is no shortage of luxury items for the Russian tourists.

We were told the flights are super cheap, less than Mel-Syd

The Aeroplane Restaurant, Colorado Springs. This Boeing KC-97 Stratofreighter was built in 1953. 283 ended its career with the Texas Air Guard and was returned to the USAF in 1970. In 2002 the aircraft was converted into a restaurant. The buffalo wings were good and the main ok but the theme and ambiance is what you come for.

Back in 2019 I was happily eating dinner in a restaurant close to the centre of Minsk, Belarus, when I heard the sound of some helos fly by. By the time I got the camera app going it was a formation of Hinds.

Then some jets (probably Mig29 Fulcrum).

Then this beast came almost overhead. Tu-160 Blackjack! (B-1ski)

They were having a practice flypast for the Belarus Independence Day the following day. I recall there were a few Belorussian aircraft and helicopters early on in the procession, but the majority were Russian.

Apologies for the poor quality images: all are captures from videos of the various formations flying past.
