Hi Guys,

I received the below from Amex yesterday, does this mean anything? Ive been trying for centurion so wondering if this is a trigger for this?

'We are writing to you about your American Express account listed above. We previously let you know that we would decline any charge which would cause the outstanding balance on your Card to exceed A$20,000.00 amount.
Based on our ongoing review of your account, we are pleased to let you know that we have decided to remove this restriction, effective immediately.
Remember that no pre-set spending limit does not mean that you have unlimited spending. Your purchases are approved based on variety of factors, including your credit record, your account history and your financial resources known to us.'

Thanks for any advice/help here

No it's not a trigger for centurion. Although with a limit placed on your purchase approval, your account wouldn't be looked at for centurion. So if you are wanting centurion at least it's a move in the right direction!

Their hard limits generally last 6 months.
