Got an e-mail from Etihad guest saying, in part:

As your favourite loyalty programme, we look for ways to get you to yournext free flight faster. Etihad Guest has partnered with e-Rewards, the world’slargest, by-invitation-only online survey community, to bring you a new way toearn Etihad Guest Miles.

When you fill out a survey on e-Rewards, you earn 500 Etihad Guest Miles aswell as Opinion Points, which you can easily convert into Etihad Guest Miles!

Anyone know more about / had experience with e-Rewards? I don't mind filling out a survey to earn some miles, but I don't want to be pestered by e-Rewards and have non flying 'offers' jamming my in-box.

Velocity gets you 750 points for joining & first survey :)

Both hubby and I do ereward surveys, 6000 ereward points = 2000 Velocity points.

I get about 3 or 4 surveys per week, they go to a junk email account (meaning it doesnt have to be the same as my FF account email) and Im not getting spam.

Waste of time IMHO. Too much effort for too little reward. Unless they have sign up bonuses etc for joining like Denali mentions..

I have been with e-Rewards for 6-7 years now. Not tied in to Velocity or Etihad and those airlines aren't even an option for me.

Transferring to VS Flying Club was great until they stopped flying to Australia. Now I transfer to Aadvantage.

Tranferred 4,000 e-Rewards points the other day for 1,000 AA miles and now have > 1,000 e-Rewards points in a few days. Some nights I spend 30-40 minutes with surveys while other times I can ignore it. Once you start doing surveys you get more opportunities and the points balance grows quickly.

Easy AA miles. To each their own.

I've earned a few VFF points out of it. But most of the surveys are annoyingly long and I get bored and close them...

Have been using them for a while.Mrsdrron also has an account.Several thousand AA and US miles.

Used to use it crediting to HH.

Surverys are generally not travel related though. Some kind be long and boring. I think you can opt as to how often you receive them. I've given up though. Too much effort for too little reward.

Use it to convert to IHG. Do them in fits and starts - sometimes many quick easy ones, the long ones I tend to get sick of and close. Best value is screen out with token points and no time commitment!

I joined e-rewards through VA and so far have transferred 6,000 Velocity points (in 2k lots). Haven't been pestered to be honest - only get surveys (and I don't qualify for them all) - haven't received any advertising/spamming (that I know of).

Minimal effort for a few extra points so I'd give it a go.

I've used e-rewards for about 5 years and got 4 different accounts, one transfers to VA, one to USDM (not for much longer), one to AA and one to United...I get lots of surveys and get a few thousand miles on each account every year

I had one like that today, I just click random selections to finish but didnt read any of it.

I have been doing e-rewards surveys for quite a few years.
At first I transferred to US Airways and now AA.

It's not for everyone (depends on how you value your time, essentially), but as an example I earned enough to redeem for 10,000 velocity points and 3000 accor points (€60) last year thru 2 accounts.

Must be burnt out this year, find it harder to gird the loins and click thru on each survey offer...

I do the surveys, but usually sabotage them so it says 'thanks but no thanks, but here's a small amount of points for your time'. That way I don't waste time filling out surveys, but after a while, the points add up. Usually earn a few thousand Velocity points each year for basically doing nothing.

Got a survey email at 9.40am, when I clicked at 10.30 got a 'survey has timed out' message. Less than an hour validity is pretty poor.

I've had them go sour faster than that! And even worse, is getting 10 questions in before they tell you you're not qualified. They have my profile. Why send me the survey if I don't qualify?

Everyone month or two, I go through my old survey emails and find extra surveys linked to the original survey that don't show up via emails. Last time I did this, I got 4000 ereward points in about an hour.

E-Rewards are great for topping up OS FF program points without actually flying.
I have used them to keep both AA and US Dividend miles accounts active instead of points expiring after 18 months and I am sure that they can be used the same way to keep other FF programs FF points alive.

My rewards go VA... i mange to get 80% of the surveys done....but some are full with in the hour...
