Can you just pay for a single visit into Air NZ koru lounges in AKL?

Doing a BNE-AKL-LAX and be good to rest up in between connecting flights.

No.

Koru Lounge access is only available to pass holders (NZ Silvers get two passes when they qualify/requalify), Koru Club members, NZ Golds & Gold Elites and Star Alliance Golds.

If you're on twitter you can try appealing to the Airpoints Fairy to see if you can get Koru Lounge access (@AirpointsFairy).

The airpoints fairy.... Now thats an interesting idea.

I saw your other thread.

I Checked Priority Pass and the other paid lounge sites - no luck (mind you I am not an expert).

I hope you have more luck than me though. I asked BA for arrival lounge access via email - and they did not even respond - not even to say no!

Maybe its worth checking whats near/in the airport. After a couple of wines non-lounges look better.

We took over the little coffee shop in T3 - Tiger in Melbourne with some other people around Christmas. It was not actually that bad (no choice but to fly tiger as I had to get some medical tests - although turned out not to bad ad that was the evening the Virgin Terminal went down).

Mind you $8 or so for a wine

interesting.. an airports fairy... maybe they could swing a one way business class flight from the states thats half of the return fare. Now that WOULD be something.

I will never get how it costs more to fly one way that return. Go VAustralia!!

I mean qantas can do it for the Pacific Region - GRR
