Hi, I don't do a lot of travelling, but will be doing several flights to the USA and throughout over a 3 week period and all our flights are with Qantas and AA. I have previously had QC membership and found it very beneficial whilst traveling with children, however its not worth my while to buy a new membership at this time. I have had advice to buy a 30 day pass to AA Admirals Club instead. Has anyone had success with this, and does it get me into the Qantas Lounges here in Australia and USA

The Admirals Club Pass is a good deal if you are doing a lot of travelling around the US. From memory it's USD99 for 30 days of unlimited AA and QF lounge access. The main catch is that you will need to be flying either AA or QF AND have an AA flight number on your boarding pass to be granted access. As long as you meet this criteria, it's certainly an option.

Thank you, do you know if this ensures me access to the QF lounges in Australia on my way over

Only if the Qantas flights are booked with American Airlines (as a codeshare) and have AA flight numbers. Otherwise no, unfortunately. (This changed recently.)

I have moved this thread to "Your Questions" as it does not relate to a suggestion or feedback on the site.

If you're considering a Qantas Club membership, don't forget that you can get a discounted corporate membership through AFF. Details here.
