Applied late last Tuesday, approved the next day, cards arrived today.

Another Amex card for the Shop Small promo, just in case three wasn't enough already.

I thought the Amex promos were only for actual Amex cards as opposed to bank co-branded ones?

Sometimes promos are for Amex-issued cards only, and some of those become available to Bank-issued cards later, but the Shop Small promo includes Bank-issued card straight-off.

Applied today. Application was referred.

Letter received today telling me my application was approved. I wasn't required to provide any details other than that in the applications form. Have to go to branch to collect cards and confirm ID. Problem is they sent cards to a location 50kms from my home. No idea why!

I applied for the NAB with 40K points card 6/11 received card on the 12/11. I closed my ANZ due to capping of points to move to NAB, but unfortanetly NAB have only given me a credit limit of 35% compared to ANZ. Myfinacial situation remains unchanged and signficantly better than when i applied for the ANZ 5 years ago.... Banks got to love them

Just an interesting observation, I had the QFF and Velocity cards from the last 20,000 promotion, which I cancelled yesterday. The call centre guy didn't like that I wanted to close the cards as I only wanted the bonus points and tried explaining the effect on my credit file blah blah.

I wouldn't be surprised if I was flagged now should I try for this offer.

Tim spin them a tale - if QF pts earning card tell them QF have changed rdpt structure or whatever and now you want to earn SQ pts or whatever - give yourself an out my friend.

Just wondering, how do NAB (and others) view multiple cards? I already have a NAB card on which I earn QFF points, can I apply for another and be eligible for deals like this?

My application was referred. Boss got a call wanting to verify my income is all.
Had to go to the branch to pick up my cards? What an annoyance!

I already have an NAB card for Velocity points. My application for this QFF deal late one night recently was referred, but was approved around midday the next day without any further contact. Of all the cards that I've applied for lately, NAB has been the fastest from application to card arrival. In the case of you already having a NAB QFF card, I have no idea, but I'd apply anyway. They'll let you know soon enough. :)

As for other banks, Citibank knocked me back on the Virgin Money Velocity deal, since I had already jumped on the free-for-life Signature bandwagon, and they want you to wait at least nine months (gestation period?) before applying for another one of their credit cards.

Referred... I've just harvested Bankwest and ANZ cards for points, so this one may not fly.

*ding! ding! ding!*

Email advising I've been approved came through early Friday.

That was almost too easy... Thank to the OP for the heads up.

Took 3 phone calls to make arrangements to have the cards sent to my local branch. They were supposed to call me when they arrived but failed to do so.

Collected my cards and tried to use them. Cards were rejected at several locations. Went back to the branch and they said the cards had been rejected because I hadn't completed the 100 point ID check. This despite me collecting the cards directly from the bank! NAB have demonstrated nothing but utter incompetence so far!
