I had to confirm my phone number with them. Of all things! They had no issues with anything else it seems. This was a new experience for me. I've never had anyone query the number provided on the online application.

I received a call from a call centre in India initially and declined to provide any information as I never give information to anyone calling and claiming to be from a bank no matter where they are calling from. I went to the branch and got it sorted. They offered me the choice of delivery to home or branch. I chose branch. Let's see how this goes......

Care to share how it will be possible to receive a full fee refund? I'd be happy to apply if this was the case :):)
It aint rocket science - call up after you bonus pts posted and tell them you would like to cancel card - they will usually respond with a 'We are sorry to hear that - can we ask why you are want to cancel?' - to which you will respond nicely along the lines 'Well QF have recently changed their FF program I no longer want to accrue their pts' - they will then probably offer you an alternative card and you say 'Yes maybe I will take that up but first let's cancel this - oh and can you pls refund me the ann fee'.

Now they usually will agree - clearly not guaranteed - but be nice to call ctr rep and a little joke or two and they should agree. As I said - no guarantee - but most times they will oblige.

BINGO - over the line again with the Plat Amex / Visa combo - cards arrived in mail today

This is your second go at this card? Did you call NAB to confirm you'd get the points again? Don't know if I'm game to give my credit score another hit at the risk of it being for nothing if there are no second points.

Hmmm me think a coincidence ... but mine arrived as well ... good bye ANZ

Applied Nov 5. Got referred and had some problems with card delivery. Card finally received Nov 25. Spent a total of $.96 and saw this on my qantas statement today:

I haven't even received my first statement from NAB let alone paid my account. Good work on the quick delivery of the points NAB, but that's about all I can say from your level of service.

Card will be cancelled as soon as I pay my statement...where's the next offer?

Yeah! Points are in. Time to cancel the card :)

First transaction made on Nov 19, points came in on Dec 03 so 2 weeks later.

Points are in!
Also, applied online, and just received my card in the mail ~5 days later. Pretty painless process.
Card was also preactivated!

Activated card today and made a purchase. It appears that on average people are waiting 1 to 2 weeks for points to post?

Has anyone received their first statement in the mail yet?

I made my first purchase around the middle of last month but haven't received a statement yet.

+1 with same experience to receive pre-activated cards ~ about 5 business days. In fact the cards arrived first, followed by the T&C info booklets 2 days later, followed by letter with card PINs 2 or 3 days after that. Zero pain so far.

Thanks to OP.

My wife's posted in a couple of weeks, mine took nearly four. Cancelled during the second month prior to the annual fee appearing, which was handy. 80,000 points for nix was nice :)
