Hi all

I'm trying to fill in a few missing details on an old trip. Just wondering if anyone has a QF timetable from 1995 showing Sydney-Vancouver (22/9/95) and Vancouver-Sydney (16/11/95). Just after Flight Numbers and equipment.

Thanks in advance

Flew that route in 1994 as I recall - was via Honolulu?

Sorry don't have a timetable or any old boarding passes.

Welcome to AFF!

O only have a 1994 timetable (effective 1 july).

It lists Sydney-Vancouver as the QF3 and return QF4. But in 1994 the routing was SYD-HNL on a 747, changing to Canadian Airlines International HNL-YVR (operated by a DC-10).

This from a timetable dated 1996:

QF353 and QF354 were codeshares operated by "Canadian Airlines International".

Didn't QF25 at one stage go to YVR? It may have done SYD/CNS/HNL/YVR or SYD/BNE/CNS/HNL/YVR possibly.

QF73/74 used to go SYD-SFO-YVR

Not forgetting as well, in 2000, after CP collapsed (or was integrated into AC), QF3 became SYD-HNL-YVR 3 days a week, and SYD-HNL-YYZ for the other 4 days.

With a 767 no less ...

From a 2000 timetable:

Have you got QF11?

I may have a series I'd like to ask for lookup but perhaps ill PM you once I've collated a few of them if that's ok?

And as the timetable shows QF3 commenced in MEL and went to SYD equipment around 1997 was a 744 to SYD and if you booked in J you could get a seat in the F cabin for that leg. SYD-HNL was usually a 742 or later a 743 but for a brief period 763's

Zooming in to those 2000 entries:

Interesting, a different timetable to the one I have (Mar 2000) it shows YYZ services 4 days a week and YVR 3 days a week, the one you have the frequencies are swapped.

but I don't remember getting First class for the price of business :( :(
I used to book economy seats and sit in Dreamtime ... still economy serve (whichthese days come close to resembling what is offered for business in any case). Also, being international, no charge for booze ...

The one I scanned is dated July 1st 2000 ...

hmmm...I obviously wasn't very switched on back in those days! although my ticket included access to the FCL ... I remember the SYD one was down the escalators at the time.

Wow serfty, I'm very impressed with your collection of Qantas records. Would you happen to be able to find the flight numbers/equipment/flight dep/arrival times etc. of Qantas flights between Sydney and Auckland in February 1996? (My first ever flight was SYD-AKL on the 12th of February, 1996 and I've been trying to work this all out for some time!)
