Posting of points for VA codeshare flights on EY

Is it just my experience or is it the general case that points & SC's for VA codeshare flights operated by EY fail to post in a timely manner and for most instances require a retro claim?

I've just completed a return trip to the UK and for the 3 sectors flown on EY I've ended up have to submit retro claims. The same thing happened with my EY flights to the UK that I flew last year.

Mind you, I did experience the points & SC's posting quite quickly once the retro claim was accepted.

Yes it's a given that most of the time you will need to do a retro claim for EY flights to claim VA points
