Hi all - i will be booking a trip to Europe for next year using Qantas FF points. I want to fly from Sydney via Singapore to Paris i.e. one stop. I want to come home departing Rome and stopping in HK then Sydney - one stop again.
I'm sure that I could find this itinerary on the Qantas FF site search when I was playing around with it a couple of months ago but now it tells me that I have to do an extra stop via Heathrow, which I don't want. This is even the case if I pick dates a year out.
What's going on ? is it because the flights I need are via codeshare partners or are they only available on certain days of the week ?
(would also welcome any other advice regarding booking flights for travel within Europe. We are looking at Sept next year and I'll need flights from northern Spain/Biarritz area to Switzerland, Austria to Malta and Malta to Italy). thanks...
