TomCat's new digs!

Make sure you take a dinner plate with you when you buy a dishwasher.

Rookie newlywed mistake of mine was a dishwasher that didnt fit the large dinner plates - so next dishwasher, I took plates and tall glasses to the Good Guys with me.
YES That's exactly what I did. They both had to fit in at the same time too. Ended up buying an ASKO. Very happy with it.

Turns out to be a good thing we’re not moving this weekend. Sick as a dog and can’t take anything more than panadol

Just gradually packing our bits and pieces into boxes. We didn’t keep much stuff out fortunately.

Poor thing. Hope you are feeling better soon. The lurgy is not fun. :(

Bella seems to think all the boxes are for her entertainment.

Done a good cull of pantry stuff that’s past it’s best, and bundled up all the hotel amenities for donation. Managed to pack my mixer and all it’s attachments back into the original box which is quite an accomplishment.

Take lots of photos of animals in boxes. The internet will love them. We have photos of our children in cardboard boxes and they had so much fun.

Cats and their love of boxes! So funny. :p

First round of ikea shopping done. We now have a lamp, tubs for the pantry and a bedside table to match our exisiting one. The bigger stuff will be purchased once we’ve moved.

I’ve also scrubbed our fridge out so it’s sparkling clean. Toiletries and amenity kits have been donated. Arranged a swap with mum, we’re taking my grandmas buffet which I’ve inherited and mum is keeping my glass front ikea cabinet to put in its place.

I can imagine the activity. Take it easy though. No need to get it all sorted immediately.
My role will be supervisor on Saturday.

Fruit trees and grass need back up sheds for paraphernalia. Don't forget the paddling pool, the mower, the bikes and trikes, the moo poo etc. ;)
Ha not happening. We have a garage, that'll do the job.
